A gutted bath needs a tub or a shower, and nobody said which. Brix holds those lines open and asks while the contractor is still standing on the floor in question. It never fills a gap with a guess.

A line with no rate on file is flagged, not priced. Type the number once and the price book keeps it, so the next estimate needs one less edit.

A phrase maps to a named assembly. The assembly expands into its lines. Every line is priced from A101's own price book, never a generic catalog. If a line has no rate on file, Brix flags it and waits.
